Applications are invited for a purely temporary position of Junior research Fellow (JRF) in the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant Project from Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence Deemed to Be University, G B Nagar, India.
Title of the project: Performance Evaluation and Optimization of Battery-assisted Low Power IoT Communication Nodes for Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC) Systems
PI: Dr. Kamal Aggrawal, Assistant Professor
Project duration: 3 years (or 36 months), the post is temporary, co- terminus with the project and subject to annual performance review.
Eligibility: M.E/M.Tech, or B.E/BTech in Electronics Communication/ Telecommunication/Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university with valid GATE/ NET or similar other national level examinations (Candidates without GATE/ NET or similar other national level examinations can also apply). Knowledge of MATLAB and Python is essential. Desirable: experience in Communication Systems.
Age Limit: The candidate should be below 35 years in age, as on 7.03.2026.
Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- pm + 9 % HRA (1st, 2nd & 3rd year) for candidates with valid GATE/ NET or similar other national level ranking. Candidates without GATE/ NET or similar other national level ranking would get Rs. 31000/-pm + 9 % HRA (1st, 2nd & 3rd year).

The selected candidate shall have to work in the Department of Electrical Engineering, SNIoE. Fellowship may be terminated at any time in case of any misconduct, unsatisfactory research work, or if the fellow is found ineligible later. The rules and regulations of SNIoE and/or the DST-SERB will be applicable on the selected candidate.
