Role & responsibilities

This role carries dual responsibilities: enhancing employability readiness through industry-aligned interventions, and generating employment opportunities for students across all schools.

 

1. Placement, Industry Engagement & Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry partners.

  • Identify job opportunities and internships relevant to various academic programs.

  • Conduct employer engagement events such as career fairs, industry talks, and panel discussions.

  • Forge partnerships with new organisations for generating employment opportunities across Corporates , NGOs & Think tanks .

  • Track industry hiring trends and update training modules accordingly.

  • Benchmark placement performance against peer institutions

  • Propose innovative strategies for enhancing student employability

2. Student Training & Career Readiness:

  • Design and execute training programs focused on employability readiness.

  • Organize mock interviews, group discussions, and assessment test sessions.

  • Facilitate mentorship programs and career counseling sessions for students.

 

Key skills, Qualification and Experience:

  1. Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate with good academic background. Certified through National, International certifying bodies i.e. KPMG, ISTD ,Dale Carnegie, British Council or equivalent is preferred.

  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  3. Excellent written & verbal Communication Skills

  4. Creating smart and effective presentations

  5. Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

  6. Counseling & Mentoring Ability

  7. Knowledge of Industry Trends & Hiring Practices
