Particle Physics Phenomenology

With the experimental confirmation of the existence of the Higgs boson, we humans have gained an almost complete understanding of the structure of our world, which is even smaller than the atomic structure, down to about 10^{-18} metre. However, there remain many mysteries about the structure of this world that we still do not understand at this stage. Our research is both (i) in pursuit of theories to better understand the structure of this world at the smallest length scales and (ii) in pursuit of how to test those theories experimentally.
