Part of the Organising team for a two-day workshop for Government Officials from different states during November 5-6, 2012, in Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad as a part of ICRIER’s Program on Capacity Building and Knowledge Dissemination on Urbanization in India.

Organised a workshop of Urban Finance in India and presented a broad overview of researchable issues on Municipal Finance theme, chaired by Dr Isher judge Ahluwalia, Chairperson, ICRIER and attended by distinguished guests as member of the advisory group, Dr Rajat Kathuria, Director ICRIER and members of the urbanisation team, held in ICRIER on October 10, 2012.

Co-ordinated a course on Fiscal Policy and Expenditure Management for Government Officials of Assam, held in NIPFP during September 19-23, 2011.

Executive Summary
My professional experience consists of research, consultancy and teaching for about fifteen years. I work on different policy related issues which are mostly empirical in nature. I am open to any new area of research in economics and public policy which is relevant and interesting. I love picking up new techniques and try to use them to model real life economic problems. I learn Hindustani Classical Music (vocal) and have a passion for music in particular and any form of art in general. I take a lot of interest in travelling, cooking, reading and photography.
