Personalized Leadership Development
The program aims to provide personalized leadership development to students using a multi-pronged approach. The planned personalized leadership development curriculum has the following components:
- Psychometric and Behavioral Assessments: Psychometric tests are a proven method of assessing a person's cognitive abilities and personality traits. Administered at an early juncture, they can prove to be a valuable source of guidance for students. At SME, these psychometric and behavioral assessments will be conducted at multiple points to provide students with deeper self-awareness and to rapidly refine their leadership capacities.
- Contemplative Practices: In today's hyper-connected and dynamic world, management professionals have to deal with myriad factors in their daily personal and professional lives. Contemplative practices help an individual make thoughtful, balanced and focused decisions in a fast changing business and life environment. They are also highly correlated with effective leadership.
- Coaching and Mentoring: SME prides itself in giving individual attention to its students. Every student will have a designated mentor network. The mentors will play an active role in the student's overall progress while at the University. In addition, students are encouraged to actively interact with scholars and practitioners from different fields. At SME, coaching and mentoring is provided not only by the resident faculty but also established professionals from industry.
- Creativity and Innovation: The I-Global MBA students at SME can benefit from a unique opportunity via a special module – “From Ideation to Commercialization” that inspires personal creativity and provides the tools for developing and managing a successful innovation culture.
