Executive Summary
Teaching and research keep my professional life going. After spending more than twenty-one years of my life in the United States, I’ve returned to my country in September 2011 to settle down to a life of teaching and research and to be close to my family. Currently, I have a very active research program going, with collaborators in the US, Europe, and Asia. I enjoy doing mathematical and statistical modeling along with the analysis of real systems, often from the industry.

My personal life derives pleasure from North Indian classical music as well as from traveling and hiking. The Himalayas and the rivers of India are my passion.
