Dr. Punarjit Roychowdhury is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Shiv Nadar University. He is an empirical microeconomist, and his fields of research are microeconometrics, labour economics, development economics, behavioural economics, and social epidemiology. His current areas of research include peer effects/neighbourhood effects, measurement of economic mobility, spousal effects in relation to health and labour supply, and socioeconomic impacts of terrorism. Apart from economics, he is also passionate about movies, music, books, and good food! His personal website is .
