Executive Summary
Dr. Harpreet Singh Grewal is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Shiv Nadar University. He obtained his Ph.D. in the area of Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. Prior to joining Shiv Nadar University, he worked as a Post-Doctorate Researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea. His research interests include surface modifications for controlling the wear, friction and adhesion using different coatings techniques such as thermal spraying, microwave processing, surface patterning for developing superhydrophobic self-cleaning surfaces with modulated adhesion and friction and anti-wear surface. His research interests also include studying the tribological behaviour of systems at all length scales (macro, micro and nano).
