About the University

Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is a multi-disciplinary, student-centric, research-focused university offering a full range of academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. SNU's multi-disciplinary curriculum provides students a strong foundation in disciplines in the technology and engineering studies, communications and management, natural sciences, humanities and social sciences while enabling them to gain mastery of a subject of their choosing. Taught by world class faculty, undergraduate education at SNU is designed to develop students with the breadth of vision, knowledge, skills and attitudes required to succeed in the careers of the 21st century.

Located on a 286-acre campus in India's National Capital Region, SNU is a private philanthropic institution established by the Shiv Nadar Foundation in 2011 through an act of the State of Uttar Pradesh.

About Systems Society of India

Systems Society of India (SSI) is a 'professional body' of distinguished Engineers and Scientists from Engineering, Science, Social Studies & Arts disciplines. It promotes advancement of theory, research, application & practice keeping in view the holistic systems approach for the advancement of humankind.

Objectives of SSI

  • To advance the study of Systems Science and Engineering and related subjects and promote applications, particularly relevant to the needs of the country.
  • To disseminate knowledge pertaining to theory and applications of Systems Science and Engineering through Systems Conferences held at appropriate intervals.
  • To encourage meritorious work in the area of Systems Science and Engineering by according suitable recognitions to individuals and societies.
  • To publish journal reporting results of original research in Systems Science & Engineering
  • To seek suitable interaction with other societies and associations in the field of Systems Science and Engineering.
  • All income of the Society shall be utilized towards the promotion of aims and objectives of the Society.
